Every Plant in My Garden is a personal study of a garden I created and nurtured over 15 years and left behind. Each plant was meticulously photographed with all the care of a miniature portrait; cataloging and preserving a memory of the plants seemed to be a way of coming to terms with a life left behind
“This recent project has become unlike my other work, the images mirroring my feelings; some in sharp focus but mostly a blur, the background dark and unknown, a feeling of isolation but there is also strong colour, freshness and hope.”
